Yesterday, seven Republican Senators issued a letter to Barack Obama questioning a proposed executive order that could potentially not only grant mass amnesty to the nation's illegal alien population, but also allow new immigrants into the country.
Dear President Obama:
We understand that there's a push for your Administration to develop a plan to unilaterally extend either deferred action or parole to millions of illegal aliens in the United States. We understand that the Administration may include aliens who have willfully overstayed their visas or filed for benefits knowing that they will not be eligible for a status for years to come. We understand that deferred action and parole are discretionary actions reserved for individual cases that present unusual, emergent or humanitarian circumstances. Deferred action and parole were not intended to be used to confer a status or offer protection to large groups of illegal aliens, even if the agency claims that they look at each case on a "case-by-case" basis.
While we agree our immigration laws need to be fixed, we are deeply concerned about the potential expansion of deferred action or parole for a large illegal alien population. While deferred action and parole are Executive Branch authorities, they should not be used to circumvent Congress' constitutional authority to legislate immigration policy, particularly as it relates to the illegal population in the United States.
The Administration would be wise to abandon any plans for deferred action or parole for the illegal population. Such a move would further erode the American public's confidence in the federal government and its commitment to securing the borders and enforcing the laws already on the books.
We would appreciate receiving a commitment that the Administration has no plans to use either authority to change the current position of a large group of illegal aliens already in the United States, and ask that you respond to us about this matter as soon as possible.
Up until now there has been a set process for deferred action and applicants had to meet certain requirements to be granted that status. If granted, the applicant(s) would be allowed to remain in the country for an additional two year time-period.
The other status the senators discussed in the letter is parole, which has nothing to do with illegal immigrants. Parole status is actually granted to those who are applying for admission into the country, and is usually done so for humanitarian reasons.
The reason the senators are concerned is two-fold. Not only could Obama grant blanket deferred action to the illegal aliens already in the country, he could also parole any applicants who want to enter the country. Surely, illegals will advise their relatives and friends in their home country to apply for admission into the U.S., and of course liberals will argue that being with one's family is enough of a humanitarian reason to allow these people to enter the country.
Let us remember, according to Obama, our nation is not defined by our borders, but by our bonds, and it has become apparent, that what is in essence an open border policy is forthcoming, and he could make it so with the stroke of his pen.

The message is simple - If you’re tired of politicians who spend your money on bailouts and deficits, if you’re tired of politicians who continue to raise your taxes, if you’re tired of broken or ignored political campaign promises, if you’re tired of any career politician who is a poster child for term limits, if you’re worried about an America in decline, if you’re tired of “politics as usual”, then - FIRE THE INCUMBENTS! Political party affiliation does NOT matter. South Carolinians gets it. Woot, Woot!!!

General McChrystal replace by...
Bush’s man that the Demo-rats literally tore to pieces. I believe they referred to him as General “Be Tray Us”. They called him a traitor. Is this Obama’s way of punishing 2 very high-ranking military officers? And this is a freaking demotion!! General Petraeus has served this country for over 35 years with a great deal of honor and integrity (things that no one in Obama’s growing administration appear to have). Don’t take my word for it, read just one of many articles about this name calling and a $65K ad that moveon.org used to attack Gen Petraeus.
I served in the Air Force and unfortunately, it is indeed true that you extremely limited free speech rights. You take an oath to obey orders from the officers appointed over you, as well as the President. Yes, Gen McChrystal screwed up and the expected outcome has occurred. Like it or not, and I know many military members that don’t like it, a military member can NOT criticize the President of the United States (well they can’t be caught doing it or have a full fledged article quoting them criticizing the President). This creates dissents, detracts morale, and has the potential to cripple our chain of command. Now that’s the military take on it. Personally, in this case I can’t take this too seriously simply because Obama hasn’t earned the respect of millions of Americans, let alone our military personnel as evidenced by numerous military personnel refusing to deploy – even though they were ordered to do so by the President…but this is a whole different story in and of itself.
Let’s get back to the subject at hand. How on God’s green earth can Joe Biden look General Petraeus in the face? The things he and other liberals said of him before he gave his report on the success of the troop surge in Iraq were so blatantly disrespectful. The General's ability to take this kind of abuse and still serve this country stands as a testament to the honor this man has for America.
Without question McChrystal was wrong to publicly speak out about his lack of confidence in Obama and the current administration. Aside from the obvious fact that McChrystal is blatantly right, it was poor headwork to trust an embedded reporter….from Rolling Stone no less (what was he thinking!) to write a puff-up article versus start an international media feeding frenzy. As for Eikenberry and Holbrooke, they are State Department dinosaurs with integrity to match the unbridled duplicity in the Obama administration. Long careers as bureaucrats qualify their opinions as essentially unimportant and worthless. The more serious side of this issue is that the civilian leadership running this war has again proven their incompetence. It is inevitable that there will be more U.S. casualties as a result of Obama’s thin-skinned decision. It is a pathetic attempt to exhibit leadership but the world is still laughing at him. Perhaps if Obama had actually spent more time with Gen McChrystal than Andy Stern, he would not be in this dilemma. In the end, Gen McChrystal will be praised for his leadership and Obama will be measured by his failure in Afghanistan, among so many others.. (Darn, there goes the 50’ statue on the mall but maybe NBC will build one for him in Rockefeller Plaza.)

Drill Maybe Drill!!!
A U.S. District Judge, Martin Feldman in New Orleans overturned the Obama administration's 6 month moratorium on off-shore drilling today. Want to bet that there will be a Louisianna judge being called to Washington for an infamous Chicago style shakedown? Chalk one up for the separation of powers. It is about time someone takes a stand against this pretentious administration. This country needs to remember what our founders intended with respect to states rights and keeping the Federal government in check. We are only a short walk away from tyranny the way things are currently going in America.
I think this is FANTASTIC! I know the oil spill is the worst disaster in recent US history. But did we shut down airlines after 9/11 (beyond a week or so)? Did we stop allowing people to drive when there was a car accident? Do you punish an entire industry for the negligence of one company? No! No! and No! You definitely make that company pay for it (and BP IS PAYING!) but those who have operated safely for decades, and can show how their approach to drilling is much safer than the approach used on Macondo should be able to continue the work to keep our nation more energy independent!
The reason we are drilling 40 miles out and 5,000 down is because the Government pushed us out there. The well that blew was originally supposed to be in 200 feet of water and the government canceled the contract and pushed it further off shore The US government is just as responsible as is BP for signing off on the safety reports..when are the Congressional hearings vs these folks going to be held? Nevertheless, this is a step in the right direction. That moratorium would not only effect the Louisiana economy, but the entire US economy. While I do believe we need to lower our oil consumption needs, I also realize that this can't be done like a flick of a switch; it will have to be a gradual change.
If safety and the health of our planet is what Obama is worried about, then why did he loan Brazil 2 BILLION of AMERICAN taxpayer dollars to drill in excess of 14,000 feet. Why is he ok with drilling in Brazil at significantly greater depths than the Deep Horizon well? What's Obama afraid of? Is he afraid his dear friend Soros and big oil in Brazil won't become billionaires without the ill conceived moratorium on drilling in the US?
And why did the Obama administration feel it necessary to lie about a group of technical experts and FALSELY state that they signed off on the moratorium? Those experts have all refuted the Obama administrations claim and clearly state that a moratorium is NOT a good answer. It appears Obama/Salazar modified reports signed by the technical experts AFTER saying they were not in favor of a moratorium. Those reports were altered by the Obama administration to favor the ban.

Obama a Christian-then why does he mock the Bible?
Obama can be described as destructive, detached, determined and intent on destroying the one country that has any resemblence of a free society. Does he know what he is doing, or is he under the influence of the evil one. Just because he's good at what he's doing, doesn't mean it's good for him to continue doing it. He needs to get our of bed with the unions. He's robbing us daily and has the audacity to call it redistribution of wealth.
He appears to want to dictate and control all Americans while referring to his continuing power grabs as a need for more government regulation.
He's gained power through deceit, misinformation, and blatant lie after lie.
We now have an oil spill that is destroying our environment while he's out enjoying a game of golf, partying with musicians, attending concerts, and other unnecessary socail events at a time when the American nation needs a true leader. He's losing his own base, yet he still doesn't seem to get it. While his purpose appears to be the total destruction of America as a free, powerful, God loving country, his agenda is all that matters to him. But without the support of his corrupt democrats, liberals, and progressive, will he be able to succeed? Or is his fall finally here at last...well I for one certainly hope so.
But to the point of this post. He's claims to be a Christian, yet prays with Muslims, downplays Islamic terrorism, and so many un-Christian like things...like mocking the Bible...see the video by clicking the below link and stop pretending this being is good in any way!
